Albuquerque projects.

Halloween fun.

One inch dolls on canvas.

I'm coming to the end of my contract here in Albuquerque. I've tried to expand my horizons into different mediums. I've done some very small, simple paintings on canvas. Canvas can be intimidating to me. I guess because it is so pure and clean.

Cloth dolls.

More cloth dolls.

These are some of my dolls.

Los Angelas Art Quilts.

These are some of my art quilts. They are about the size of a sheet of paper.

I am presently working in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This is a great town for arts and crafts. I have five weeks left to this contract, and am hoping to get a job near New Orleans in October. We would be able to spend all of the holidays at home, and get some work done on the house.
I am working on a Halloween project. I started it today. Starting is the hardest part. I started with canvas and paint. Then I added a Halloween poem, and some pictures. After reading all the fiber art magazines, I expect so much of myself. I want it to have that great, well planned put together look. But I have to admit, that it's all just an excuse to play with art supplies. Well now I'll go see if my project is dry enough to add some more paint and stuff.
