These are my own embroidery patterns that I've been working on. I've made little quilts out of them. I put magnets on the back so that I can hang them on the fridge. I'm going to make some more of these.
Quilt background is woven strips of fabric. Patches are little peices of scraps, hand embroidered. Quilt is 10 inches square. Fabrics are tea dyed and rusted.
This doll I call Rusty Rose. The recycled fashion doll was first covered with tissue paper, gessoed, and rusted with a two part rusting solutions. The fabric was rust dyed.

Rusted fabric. Not hard to do here in New Orleans.
